No need: keep the same code in the window and change where it leads for each promotion (sales, holidays, new collection). Statistics then show the effect of each change.
Does a window code scan through the glass?
Yes, if it is stuck inside against the glass, large enough (15 to 20 cm to be read from 1.5 m) and out of direct glare. Test it by day and by night.
