QR code to share your Wi-Fi
Two options. The free Wi-Fi code holds the network and password: one scan connects the phone directly, but you must reprint it if the password changes. The editable code opens a page with the network name and a “Copy password” button, which you change whenever you want.
Need a code that will never change? Create a free static QR code: the content is written into the code, it never expires, but it cannot be edited.
How to do it, in 3 steps
- Click “Create an editable code” and choose the “Wi-Fi” content.
- Fill in the fields: the phone preview shows exactly what people who scan will see.
- Choose the design (colours and logo included), pay €2.99 once, then download your code as PNG or SVG.
Our tips
- For a place where the password changes often (holiday rental), choose the editable one.
- Put it at reception, on tables or in the welcome booklet.
- A “WI-FI” frame makes its purpose obvious.
Why an editable code?
The printed code holds a short link qrdurable.com/r/…: you change what it opens whenever you want, without reprinting, and you see scans per day. €2.99 once, live for at least 10 years, no subscription. Prices are in euros: at checkout, you can pay the equivalent in your own currency (dollars, pounds…).
Questions
Does the free Wi-Fi QR code expire?
No, never. But it contains the password: if you change it, you need a new code.
Does the code connect automatically?
The free code does, on most phones. The editable one shows the password to copy.
