A lifetime QR code that never expires
A QR code that “never expires” comes in two forms, and the difference matters before you print.
Your code stopped working? Check where it leads, then replace it with a code that depends on no subscription.
The static code: impossible to cut off
Your content (link, text, Wi-Fi…) is written into the image itself. The phone reads it without going through any server. It will work in 20 years, even if the site that made it disappears. Its limit: it cannot be edited. With us it is free, no account needed.
The editable code: change without reprinting
The code holds a short link (qrdurable.com/r/…) that forwards to your content. You change that content whenever you want, without reprinting, and you see scans. It depends on our service: that is why we commit in writing to keep it live for at least 10 years, with no renewal fees and 12 months’ notice if the service ever had to stop.
How to choose
- The content is final: free static code.
- The content may change (menu, PDF, address, business card): editable code at €2.99 once.
- When in doubt, for materials costly to reprint (signage, vehicle, packaging): editable.
Questions
Can a QR code wear out over time?
The print can (sun, scratches). Keep a white margin and good contrast; with an editable code, reprinting gives the same code.
Is the editable code really paid only once?
Yes: €2.99 once, no subscription or renewal.
