How to create a QR code, step by step
Creating a QR code takes less than a minute. What matters most happens before: choosing the right kind of code, then checking it scans before you print.
Create your QR code: free and static, or editable for life for €2.99 paid once.
1. Choose what the code will open
- A website or a specific page: the most common case.
- A text, Wi-Fi access, an email or a phone number.
- A PDF, a business card, a links page, a menu: you then need an editable code, which hosts the page.
2. Choose between static and editable
A static code is free and lasts forever, but can never be edited. An editable code lets you change the destination after printing and see scans: €2.99 once at QR Durable, no subscription.
3. Create, then check
- Type your content: the code is created in your browser.
- QR Durable reads every code back before download; the “Checked: scans” message confirms it.
- Scan it with your own phone too, on screen and on a first print.
4. Download and print
- High-definition PNG for a document, an email or social media.
- SVG for your printer and large formats.
- Respect the minimum size: one tenth of the scanning distance.
